Important notice: Cyber attack on Save the Elephants and ElephantVoices
The official Facebook pages of ElephantVoices and Save the Elephants were compromised in elaborate and well-planned cyber attacks

In the past three weeks, the official Facebook pages of ElephantVoices and Save the Elephants were compromised in elaborate and well-planned cyber attacks. We have reason to believe that both our organisations were targeted by the same individuals, who posed as representatives of established podcasts in the US to gain access under false pretences.
As you can imagine, this situation is deeply disturbing. This breach has severed our direct connection with hundreds of thousands of dedicated supporters who stand with us in our shared mission to protect elephants. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and want you to know that we are working closely with Meta to resolve the issue and regain control of our accounts. We have also strengthened our systems and implemented new protocols to prevent similar incidents in the future.
In the meantime, we urge our followers to exercise caution. If you receive any messages on Facebook claiming to be from either organisation – especially those requesting donations – please do not engage. Instead, report the message to us so we can take immediate action.
To our fellow conservation NGOs: We strongly advise against engaging with any podcast-related requests at this time – especially those originating from Gmail accounts – without first verifying the legitimacy of the request by contacting the podcast directly through another avenue.
For accurate updates and verified information, please stay connected with us here on Instagram, LinkedIn and through our official websites:
